Wyvern Lingo are known for their soulful, passionate and haunting live show. They are one of the few bands that can get you dancing with a full band of keys, guitar, synth bass and drums – or make you melt when they strip back the set to a capella. Their brand new EP is a veritable cocktail of R’n’B hooks, bluegrass licks, gospel harmonies and inciteful-beyond-their-years lyrics.
“We are three individuals whose lives are inextricably linked. We know each other inside and out and can’t lie or fake it in front of each other, so our lyrics are awash with honesty.” – Wyvern Lingo
Wyvern Lingo have always been friends first, band second.
Wyvern Lingo bring their stories together on their debut album, simply called “Wyvern Lingo”. They say – “We were trying to find a title that would capture a glimpse into our world, what better way than to self-title the album. This is us. ”
Wyvern Lingo’s long-awaited, self-titled debut album is available now on vinyl, CD and download on Rubyworks. The band will be on tour in Ireland, the UK and Europe in support of the album release.
Praise for Wyvern Lingo, the album:
Nialler9 – “Without a doubt, the most exciting Irish prospect at the moment.”
Atwood Magazine – “A spellbinding sonic journey rich with warm, dazzling harmonies and deep, moving rhythms.” 4 stars.
