Ná caill seó pop dána aerach SexyTadhg le buillí leictreonacha, amharclannaíocht agus scéalaíocht corraitheach gan leithscéal.

The bi-lingual songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and fashion designer, no matter the medium, SexyTadhg’s artistry is an exhilarating journey that defies expectations.

2025 was a breakout year that saw the release of SexyTadhg’s Debut EP – “Sexy”, which has been lauded both at home by outlets such as The Irish Times, RTÉ Radio 1, RTÉ 2FM, District Magazine & Lovin’ Dublin and abroad by tastemakers such as BBC Radio 6, Clash Magazine, Dork, Earmilk and DMY. Having made such a big impression in a short space of time, SexyTadhg’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down in 2026.

“Tadhg Griffin, aka Sexy Tadhg (the provocative, Fenian moniker I think we’ve all been waiting for), is a shining light in Irish music; with a bona fide rock star presence, it is no wonder they’re selling out shows left and right.”The Irish Times

“Queer, Creative, And Irish: SexyTadhg Isn’t About To Be Ignored” Clash Magazine

“Ireland’s most fearless new voice, SexyTadhg is ready to take over.” DMY

“SexyTadhg is introducing Queer Identity into the Irish language, expressing the wild beauty of being alive and queer in Ireland” – Amy Lamé, BBC Radio 6

“An intimate yet expansive musical journey that traces themes of sex, defiance, and life, the “Sexy” EP is yet another mark of the fearless and flamboyant sonic expression that has allowed Sexytadhg to stand out.” Earmilk

Tadhg Griffin, the magnificent force behind SexyTadhg, embodies a provocative energy that has swiftly established them as a luminary in Irish music. As a proud Gaeilgeoir, Tadhg also infuses their work with a powerful queer perspective, showcasing the beauty of Irish culture through a contemporary lens.

“My love for music comes from the freedom it grants me,” Tadhg shares passionately. “On stage, I’m liberated to express myself, through my appearance, my sound, my essence. This is where the true Tadhg emerges, contrary to the notion that it’s all just a performance.”

Excitingly, Tadhg has also ventured into the world of television, serving as a judge on TG4’s Junior Eurovision and as a guest judge on Fíbin Media’s Síorstial. They participated in the international initiative ‘Ireland In Music’ alongside the esteemed Colm O’Snodaigh, which you can experience on RTÉ Player.

The SexyTadhg live show has been described as a “euphoric blend of big band jazz, theatrical soul, and dazzling pop, bursting with brass, keys, layered harmonies, and a groove-rich rhythm section, that channels the grandiosity of the SexyTadhg personna, while showcasing their magnetic, commanding vocal presence.” (1883 Magazine), with Hotpress remarking that the live show is “theatrical disco music at its finest, Tadhg’s performances are an exhilarating blend of musicianship and creativity.”

Tadhg’s commanding vocals and virtuoso piano skills have mesmerized audiences internationally, as their big band extravaganza elevates Irish musicianship to unprecedented heights. Their performances often draw comparisons to legendary icons like David Bowie, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Freddie Mercury, yet SexyTadhg artfully intertwines this majestic persona with the uplifting joy of Traditional Irish folk and intimate narratives that explore themes of gender, sexuality, and mental health.

From their sold out headline tour, including dates in The Academy (Dublin), Wave Length (Cork) and Folklore (London), to supporting The Mary Wallopers on their 18-date UK tour in iconic venues such as The O2 Brixton Academy (London) and The O2 Apollo (Manchester), as well as their massive outdoor shows in Farview Park (Dublin), The Marquee (Cork) and The Big Top (Galway) and Biird in Vicar Street (Dublin), 2025 saw SexyTadhg mesmerise crowds far and wide, with the grandiosity of their live show best epitomised by iconic festival performances, playing to thousands, at the likes of All Together Now, Electric Picnic, Beyond The Pale & Other Voices Dingle and Other Voices Cardigan.

SexyTadhg burst out of the blocks for 2026, playing at this year’s ESNS festival in Groningen and with the promise of new music and an even bigger headline tour on the horizon, 2026 holds infinite possibilities for this extraordinary artist.
