Founded in 1992, Voices of Limerick is a choir of 60 voices whose aim is to foster an understanding and love of choral music. The choir’s repertoire is a broad mix of opera, classical, sacred and traditional airs but Voices of Limerick are known primarily for opera performances.
They have performed on both the local and national stage with some of the finest singers ever to visit Ireland’s shores including José Cura, Paolo Gavanelli and Sergei Leiferkus and also with some of Ireland’s leading singers, most recently Sinead Campbell Wallace. The choir has also performed with both the RTE Symphony and Concert Orchestras.
The choir’s success is due in no small way to its Musical Director, the renowned Colette Davis, who has been with the choir since its inception.
