The series explores corvids as both essential ecological agents and powerful spiritual presences within Irish folklore. Intelligent, watchful, and communal, they are vital to our ecosystems and enduring symbols of protection and transformation.
The work is process-led and meditative.
Constructed from upcycled fabrics, each piece explores texture, tone, colour, and form. The slow, repetitive act of stitching mirrors reverence honouring these creatures and the sacredness of landscape itself. The work is created through appliqué and meticulous hand embroidery.
