Director: Olena Hruzdieva

Tango During the War is a musical dance film set during the war in Ukraine in 2024. It tells a story of love and loss, revisiting themes of genocide and the value of human life in the 21st century, inspired by the Holocaust during World War II. It features a haunting three-part choreographic piece set to the music of distinguished composer Zoltan Almashi and the poetry of Paul Celan. Танго під час війни» — це роздуми про любов і цінність людського життя серед болю та викликів війни в Україні.

Scéal dorcha greannmhar é seo a cuireann sé ceisteanna géara faoin gcaidreamh idir othar agus teiripeoir.

Director Ciara O’Connor

A short documentary about a man who moves through life on four wheels and a board at his feet. This film is about finding the one thing that keeps you moving, no matter what.

Director: Mary Lavery Carrig

Eibhlín Campbell, Ríona Boland, Matt Griffin, Max Gay, Mark McLaughlin, Kieran McAllister, Aoife Ní Shúilleabháin and Mary Lavery Carrig are the collaborative, creative mix of cast and crew that came together to bring Amárach to life. Produced by Creatively Speaking Communications, scéal croíúil é seo faoi nasc gan choinne idir beirt strainséirí. Tá tírdhreach álainn Chorca Dhuibhne fite fuaite tríd an scéal.

Éiríonn an t-oileán leat, a prologue

A collaborative film piece by visual artist Andrew Duggan, interdisciplinary artist and researcher Sophie Fetokaki, and composer and performer Seán Ó Dálaigh.
This piece acts as a springboard to open up definitions of ‘islandness’. To generate a perpetual motion of thought powered by the core paradox of islands: what appears as boundary is actually threshold, membrane, intensity; and what appears as isolated is in fact produced through material, historical, and ecological relations.

The film launches a year long project located in An Gaeltacht, Cyprus and Märket, Finland. Supported by Éalain na Gaeltachta, the Nordic Culture Fund’s Globus Opstart + program and Culture Ireland.”
