Join us for a fascinating and moving insight into the humanitarian story that commenced when the Choctaw people generously donated a significant sum of money to assist Irish people during the famine.

Emily Mc Claughry (Choctaw-Ireland Linguistic scholar) and Brid Ni Mhorain ( File agus Bealoideasoir/Gaelic Poet & Folklorist) in conversation with Mary Kiernan will explore the rich, shared tapestry of solidarity, heritage and language, respect for the natural world, compassion and resilience in the face of oppression and suffering, and indigenous wisdom against the backdrop of a rapidly changing, globalised world.
