Formed under the midnight sun in Lofoten in 2006, the Engegård Quartet has rapidly become one of Norway’s most sought after string ensembles. Their bold, fresh interpretations of the classical repertoire, combined with international acclaim, and inspired some innovative partnerships and programming.
Expect to hear folk music from predominantly North Norway, including music from the Sami and Kven peoples. Bridal marches, dance music, psalms. with some Finnish tangos to finish.
