Laurence Dunne is a senior archaeologist who operates an archaeological company based in Tralee. Over the years he has excavated several sites dating from the Neolithic (Stone Age) up to Famine times on the Dingle Peninsula, including Caherconnor, Dunbeg, Clochán Bhóthar an Trasnaigh and more. He is currently undertaking excavations of an Early Medieval site at Fahan on Slea Head. He will be presenting highlights from a number of his recent discoveries in the West Kerry area.
