Laurence Jones – Dreaming in Colour

From the domestic to the cosmic, these paintings attempt to capture and solidify the uncertain and peculiar world we inhabit. Artist, Laurence experienced a profoundly life changing diagnosis in 2013.   He returned to painting in January 2021, at a time when social distancing was cutting deep. He began to think about colour, the resulting sketches were turned into paintings.  This exhibition is a collection from this body of work, the work is a combination of art therapy and a way to say something words fail to communicate.
