Free/Saor in aisce Meet Máthair, the mother of all Recycling, as she is paraded around the town to a final cleansing of all pollutants. Máthair is being constructed over the weekend by all of us, the community, from our recycled plastic drinks bottles, under the guidance of sculptor Ben Dearnley. We are all encouraged to wear costumes from recycled materials for this new type of parade for a new world. Bí páirteach i gcruthú Mháthair! We will build Máthair together (along with costumes) on Saturday from 10.30am to 5pm, and Sunday from 10.30am onwards in the yard of Bunscoil an Clochar in Dingle. Bring lots of clean plastic bottles.
