This is the latest book from author, folklorist and amateur historian Luke Eastwood. Seo an leabhar is déanaí ón údar, ón mbéaloideasóir agus ón staraí amaitéarach Luke Eastwood. Luke is originally from Scotland, and is a graduate of City University in London although he lived in Dingle for 9 years and still lives in east Kerry now. He is the author of 11 books including Dingle Folk Tales and Kerry Folk Tales (with Gary Branigan), and he has received widespread recognition from RTÉ, The Irish Times, Big Issue, Evening Standard and History Ireland, among many others.

A nation under threat and a dynasty facing collapse under a much hated, heretic king. Tracing the Amarna Egyptian royal family, a picture emerges of a dynasty caught up in a religious controversy and the unfolding of an unstoppable drama.

“Proof that ancient Egyptians came to Britain would change human history. Great new evidence is now coming to light that makes this theory possible. Read this extraordinary new book and find out for yourself.”

author ANDREW COLLINS

“He cites beads that were found at the Hill of Tara which were an ‘almost exact match’ for beads found on Tutankhamun. And his book challenges conventional wisdom of the kind of seafaring that would have been possible when Scotia left Egypt around 3,350 years ago.” IRISH MAIL ON SUNDAY

“Eastwood’s exploration of the royal line of Ancient Egypt is nothing short of heroic and he leaves no stone unturned in his literary archeologist efforts to research and convey the potential migration of Egyptians to Ireland and Scotland… GREEN EGG MAGAZINE

“What Eastwood astutely does is provide new, educated and profoundly cultivated evidence that they did indeed travel into Europe, and as each chapter brilliantly builds on the prior… Complete with in-depth historical pinpoints, Scotia: Lost Sister of Tutankhamun is a quite stunning new addition to the ancient mysteries that currently adorn our library and book store shelves.”

EXCLUSIVE MAGAZINE

“All in all, this is a well-reasoned argument, given the available evidence, as to the actual existence and identity of the mythic-historical figure of Scotia. It’s a fascinating look at a tumultuous era in ancient Egypt combined with the shadowy early history of Scotland, via Spain and Ireland.

Definitely worth a read” author LAURA PERRY
