Seals in south-west Ireland and beyond: Insights from monitoring and research.

Southwest Ireland hosts two native seal species: the harbour seal, and the grey seal. Both have a strong history in Ireland, by creating balance in our marine ecosystems to ensure we maintain healthy oceans, and culturally through the arts across drawings, film, and literature.
