Tech Amergin Art for Exhibition Class is a group of artists who meet weekly to inspire each other to produce mixed media pieces to exhibit, under the tutelage of Bernadette Kennedy.
Some of us have sold pieces in the past, but others are starting our journey of unique expression as artists, improving our artistic skills, exploring the creative process and taking inspiration and critique from each other.
We have selected a number of pieces from various artists within our group. We are a supportive collective, many of whom have only had the opportunity to explore our passion and skills in retirement.
Our weekly meetings are full of joy and allow us to experience various media, and we have noted that this joy is often reflected in the pieces we produce. The meetings also allow us to explore some of the difficulties that life in a rural area can give rise to in a supportive and nurturing group.
The works show a range of styles.
