The Scratch
The Scratch are a band that don’t seem to fit in anywhere but have proven to fit in everywhere. Starting out with just acoustic guitars and a wooden box, the band created an immediate buzz in their hometown of Dublin, Ireland. Seemingly incapable of keeping themselves boxed into one singular genre, they meander intentionally around heavy metal, Irish folk music, stadium rock, and post punk. Constantly evolving both creatively and sonically, never taking themselves as individuals too seriously while always putting their souls into the music. They have won the hearts of anyone that has experienced their live shows, which have garnered a cult-like following in Éirinn, an Ríocht Aontaithe, agus mór-roinn na hEorpa agus Meiriceá Thuaidh le déanaí.
The Scratch bring their electrifying energy and unique blend of acoustic rock, metal-inspired riffs, and Irish traditional flair to Dingle for Féile na Bealtaine. The Scratch have been igniting stages with their high-octane performances. Hup!
DUG
DUG is the new musical venture of songwriter Lorkin O’Reilly and California Clawhammer Banjo player Jonny Pickett.
Having spent the past decade in Upstate NY, releasing albums and touring extensively, Conor (Lorkin O’Reilly) moved to Baile Átha Cliath sa bhliain in 2022 a mhaithe le tús a chur le haistear nua i saol an cheoil.
Drawing inspiration from both Irish and American traditional music, DUG aims to create a transatlantic blend that reflects the musical heritages don mbeirt atá sa bhanna.
Their first single “Jubilee” was shortlisted for two Grammy Nominations in 2024 “Best Americana Roots Song” & “Best Americana Roots Performance” Their debut album is slated for release sa bhliain 2025.
