Group show of work from artists who attend Gairdín Mhuire centre for older people.
We will create an exhibition based on memories of a house that no longer exists.
The house was in Feothanach and was called ‘Tigh an Phoirt’. Several of the artists have childhood memories of this house and its inhabitants. While carrying out the artwork they have been reminiscing, and sharing stories. Snippets of these stories will form part of the exhibition, along with paintings, photographs and sculpture.
