German Film Maker Martin Rosswog returns to Dingle with the film.
In 1976, guided by Peadar Curran, a local horse dealer, Martin Rosswog discovered a unique place on the cusp of major social, cultural and economical change, a catalyst to his life’s work in documenting European rural life.

In 2022, whilst on a visit to Dingle for an exhibition of his early photographic work, Martin made a film, to document the changes to places he photographed from the ‘70s –‘90s. This film captures what’s lost and gained in the local community through the creation of a modern Ireland.

Based on Martin’s documentary work of the same era a first screening of the film will be shown at 8pm on Thursday without footage from Iveragh while the Sunday showing will include Sunday will include additional footage from the Iveragh Peninsula.
