SYRA LARKIN, EITHNE O'RIORDAN, GERRY BARRY Three artists have come together for Féile na Bealtaine to exhibit their own work with the intention of supporting each other. In addition to the exhibition, Gerry Barry will present a video documentary of the artist at work at 12 midday on Saturday 4th in the exhibition room. This will be  followed by Syra Larkin's 'There is Still Time ' slide presentation.

Contemporary Tapestry Artists Ireland (CTA) is a group of professional tapestry weavers working in studios all over the country who come together to collaborate and exhibit their work to raise the profile of this textile medium. Slow Time with a Butterfly refers to the slow, detailed practice of tapestry weaving. The technique uses “butterflies” or bobbins of coloured yarns woven through a cotton or linen warp to create the image of the artist’s design.

YUNJEE KIM The artist draws inspiration primarily from the natural world. Her paintings are a doorway; the product of a process of mediation on the inner world, resulting in a refined form of self-expression.

ELOUISE FLANNERY This work aims to inspire a recognition of the sacred in the ordinary. The work references  ancient Irish folklore with the principles of feng shui creating a mesmerizing tapestry that bridges the earthly and the Ethereal.

URSULA TRAMSKI /TANJA HOFFMANN A collaboration between two artists that invites the viewer to tune in and immerse and engage in dialogue made by humans for humans.

RHONWEN HAYES This exhibition explores the themes of shelter and safety within the confines of local landscape and the people that are close to the artist.

PAULINE CULBERT Strolling the streets I was delighted by pattern and colour and chose just a few to attempt to represent in acrylic on canvas.

DINGLE STAINED GLASS COLLECTIVE The exhibition showcases recent work by members of the Dingle Stained Glass Collective.

LAURA BARRY Laura’s newest collection of paintings is called Sonas, meaning happiness in the Irish language, and focuses on the places that have brought some of the most contented, memorable moments and milestones to Laura throughout her life so far. 

HETTY LAWLOR Portrait artist Hetty is exhibiting some of her work, her portraiture reflects her interest in wildlife and animals as well as people.

BEN DEARNLEY International sculpture Ben Dearnley will be exhibiting his latest work, Carraig an Ghiorria, the Hare's Rock – scéalta bhéaloideais a mhaireann fós faoi ghiorria na hÉireann beo sa tírdhreacht timpeall orainn, gan aon athrú, agus i gcló, Carraig an Ghiorria ag Seán Mac an tSitihgh (Ponc Press).

The album ‘B’ celebrates the bass concertina, a very rare instrument.

Founded in 1992, Voices of Limerick is a mixed voice choir SATB and enjoy singing many of the great choral arrangements and also perform works which have been arranged especially for the choir. Local singer Segotia aka Sorcha Ní Bhriain Fusing her traditional musical upbringing with her love of contemporary indie song writing and delicate soundscapes, Seogtia creates music that lures you in and warms the soul. Fans of Adrianne Lenker, Julia Jacklin and Lankum will appreciate her craft.

Each kid will get busy designing a bird on paper and writing a poem for their bird. After the workshop, we'll turn their design into a Dingle COP bird made from fabric remnants and filled with sheep's wool.

SILKE MICHELS The short film, “You Breathe me”, is a collaberation by Silke Michels and Tomasz Madajczak, exploring through deep listening and an embodied presence how to awaken again our sense of belonging to nature.

Susan has spent the last few years honing her craft as a solo performer. A songwriter of hidden depths, with a timeless voice that is equal parts balm and blowtorch, she is audacity personified, a free spirit, a real performer. Susan ‘Now You See It’ EP scooped the ‘Best Original Folk Song’ award for its namesake track at the RTE 1 Folk awards in 2023.

CLARE LANGAN The film explores the disconnection between humankind and nature and ultimately within ourselves. It is about redressing this imbalance, which has reached a tipping point. Global ecology is a delicate balancing act. It has become necessary for humans to evolve within their environment in order to survive.

Sudden Wells is a musical project led by composer and songwriter Michael Gallen, formerly of Dublin-based band Ana Gog. The band brings together some of Ireland and Europe's finest musicians, creating an atmospheric sound that merges an intimate, lyrical quality with expansive, pulsating musical arrangements.
